This week we explored and discovered webquests. I enjoyed this because it seems to be a hands off approach for the teachers. It seems that the learners can actually complete a learning objective and perhaps even master it, by using a clear and concise webquest to do an assignment. I am looking forward to exploring this concept further. The wiki is also a great collaboration tool that minimizes individual contact on a collaborative project. I am learning alot and think this information will be very helpful in my classrooms down the line.
In other words, WebQuests are learner-centered as opposed to teacher-centered instructional strategies. What are some other advantages of using WebQuests in your classroom?
