This is my first blog for EDU 271 and I am just as lost. I don't like when I am not knowledgeable on something. I expect to learn alot from this class.
I see that there is alot to be learned by this class. Ironically, I took the Effective Teacher course that was required for substitute teachers in Cumberland County and it was mentioned that lecturing is the least effective method for learners to absorb. It mentioned that technology has a huger impact on how much a learner can retain. I am excited that I will learn more about these advances in technology.
Being lost is not bad. Finding your way is an example of learning. All too often we do not risk trying something new because we are afraid of not seeming to know everything. Teachers are especially bad about this. However, it is when we get out of our comfort zone that the greatest knowledge is gained. Keep plugging. You'll be amazed at how much you'll learn.
