I am reflecting on the completion of this group project. I am not sure, but it seems collaboration is out of the comfort zone of most individuals. Working together is not the most desirable thing to do, yet when doing so, it can be rewarding. Seeing other peoples' perspectives is quite interesting. I am trying to collect my thoughts for the upcoming assignment for next week: Power Point presentations. Yeah!
You mention some interesting ideas but you don't expand on them. Why do you think collaboration might be out of the comfort zone for many people? How might this affect your classroom? What might you need to do as a teacher to overcome any obstacles? Why is working together "not desirable"? By whom? How can it be rewarding? What can you do as a group that might be impossible or very difficult as an individual?
